About the fact that he is preparing a musical comedy in the new season of 2018/2019, in a short review of the news:

The theater plans to release four new plays on the big stage, the first of which will be the musical "Can-Can" by Cole Porter (directed by KERO (Hungary).) The premiere shows will be held on October 26, 27, 28, 2018.

In January-February 2019, Maxim Leonidov's musical "One million worth girl" (staged by Andrei Noskov) based on the Soviet film "Chukotka's Chief" (1966) will be presented on the stage of the theater.

In May 2019, the premiere of the new production of Franz Lehar's operetta "The Merry Widow" (director and choreographer Giorgio Madia (Italy)) will take place

In June-July, the production of "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss (staged by Kirill Strezhnev) is scheduled.

In addition, theatre continues to work on the production of "The Madwoman of Chaillot" (directed by Grigory Dityatkovsky) and "The Ball of the Thieves" (directed by Andrei Zhitinkin).

In the new season the theater plans an active tour activity.

October 1 in Yerevan will be shown a performance-concert "Hits of Broadway".

November 5 - 10 in Yekaterinburg on the stage of the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy the performances "Bely.Petersburg", "Cin Ci La", "Summer of Love", "Hits of Broadway", as well as Liki Rulla's concert "Monologues about Love" and Gala concert of operetta stars.

In addition, negotiations are underway to conduct a tour in Sevastopol, Irkutsk, Petrozavodsk, Surgut, Khabarovsk, Kamchatka and others.

The theater also hopes that in the summer of 2019 it will be able to invite the spectators again to Gatchina for the III International Festival "OPERETTA PARK".
