Yakimova Natalia

She was born in Murmansk. In 2011 she graduated from the vocal faculty of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory n.a. Rimsky-Korsakov (department of solo singing).

Has performed the roles of Olga (Eugene Onegin by P. Tchaikovsky), The Witch (Dido and Aeneas by G. Percell), Martha (Iolanta by P. Tchaikovsky) in the performances of the Opera and Ballet Theater of the St. Petersburg Conservatory.

2011-2014 - Artist of the Academy of Young Opera Singers of the Mariinsky Theater.

In 2016 she made her debut at the Mariinsky Theater as The Narrator in Britten's opera The Desecration of Lucretia. Also at the Mariinsky Theater she sang the role of the Witch in Humperdink's opera Hansel and Gretel, the viola role in Mendelssohn's ballet A Midsummer Night's Dream, and the role of Rene in Shostakovich's Orango.

Laureate of the Dvořák International Competition (Karlovy Vary), laureate of the Mattiucci Competition, laureate of the Spring of Romance International Competition, laureate of the Gavrilin Competition, winner of the All-Russian Fair of Opera Singers.

Also in the repertoire: Eboli (Don Carlos), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Carmen (Carmen), Delilah (Samson and Delilah), Suzuki (Madame Butterfly), Polina (The Queen of Spades) , Lyubasha ("The Tsar's Bride"), Marina Mnishek ("Boris Godunov").

Has performed as Rene in Shostakovich's unfinished opera Orango at the Baltic Sea Festival in Stockholm, Helminki and BBC Proms in London under the direction of Esa-Pekka Salonen.

In 2020 she took part in the Abdrazakov Fest in Yekaterinburg, Ufa and Kazan.

In April 2021, she performed for the first time on the stage of the St. Petersburg Theater of Musical Comedy at the Gala Concert of Operetta Stars, after which she was accepted into the troupe.
