From the moment of foundation of Theatre of Musical comedy traditionally strong ballet company had formed, at the head of the ballet troupe was brilliant operetta dancer from Kharkov - N. Peltzer.

Theatre remembers its wonderful ballerinas and their partners: M. Volkova, I. Levental, L. Lidina, A. Kamkova, M. Kukleva, I. Odintzova, I. Otrepina, K. Chudinskaya, E. Chulkova, S. Karpova, V. Lanina, V. Proza, B. Smirnova and others.

Many dancers with time became ballet-masters: L. Baryshev, L. Beyzelyman, K. Boayrsky, L. Travinin and V. Travkin.

Quality of ballet troupe predetermined interest of outstanding ballet-masters of our country for productions of the theatre. Many times they took part in creation of performances. Among these names are: L. Yakobson, K. Goleyzovsky, V. Chabukiani, L. Leontyev, L. Lavrovsky, P. Gusev, V. Vayonen, S. Koren, N. Anisimova, I. Belysky, B. Fenster… And such famous dancers of Mariinsky theatre as R. Gerbek and S. Kuznetsov many years were at the appointment of chief ballet-master of theatre of Musical comedy.
