Dear viewers! In accordance with Decree No. 127 of the Government of St. Petersburg, from March 19 to April 30, 2020, all cultural events with more than 50 participants were canceled in the city.

On May 5-8, 2020, the theater pays tribute and respect to the defenders of the Fatherland who won the Great Patriotic War, and invites them to festive concerts. The program includes a sentimental poem by G. Alekseev to the music of the Leningrad composer A. Kolker "The Firebird" and songs in which the heroics of the war, sacred to Russian people, are reflected.

The famous director Cornelius Baltus (Holland) arrived in St. Petersburg.  For several days he held a series of workshops for artists of the musical theatre.

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation №430 dated 09.09.2019 Alexey Nefedov was awarded the Order Medal "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the I degree "For his great contribution to the development of national culture and art, many years of fruitful activity!"

Today, Italian director and choreographer Giorgio Madia and stage designer Domenico Franchi arrived at the theatre. They are familiar to the Petersburg public in the new production of the operetta "The Merry Widow" by F. Lehar. Their visit is connected with the discussion of new joint projects with the theatre in 2020 - the Gala concert "Revue Operetta" and the musical "Cabaret" by J. Kander.

December 9 at the Music Hall Theater the ceremony of presenting the Youth Prize of the Government of St. Petersburg in the field of artistic creativity in 2019 was held. We are pleased to announce that the soloist of our theater Anastasia Loshakova was awarded the prize in the nomination "For achievements in the field of musical creativity".
